"Cornish Blue" Dormouse in Teapot
`The Dormouse is asleep again,' said the Hatter, and he poured a little hot tea upon its nose.
I always felt so sorry for the little Dormouse at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, but the little chap in this teapot has certainly never had tea poured upon his nose. He's handknitted by me and stands 9" high from the bottom of his teapot to the tip of his ears and 9.5" wide from spout to handle.
He's made of a washable wool mix yarn and stuffed with all new stuffing. He's not intended as a toy, but all his features are securely embroidered - so there aren't any beads or buttons to come adrift! He'd make a great ornament for any child's room - as even if he's knocked off a shelf he won't break or be damaged in any way.
PS: He also looks great on my kitchen dresser where I photographed him next to my collection of Cornish Blue storage pots. I almost didn't list him for sale .... he looks so at home there!
