JAMES LEONARD: 1948 Leonard??s work, known internationally after World War II, was available to readers of Roberto Aloi??s, ESSEMPI, ??L??arredamento Moderno?, in 1955, a Europe-wide magazine Classic British design well ahead of its time.Very strong but incredibally light.A very under rated design his work is unfairly over shadowed by the likes of Race and Day.This chair was made up of scrap Alluminium re smelted after the war and bent plywood again a by product of aroplane design during the war.In good vintage condition.
