Description: A wonderful and very rare vintage first edition JH 550 peacock chair designed by Hans J Wegner in 1947 for Johannes Hansen of Denmark. The frame is made from ash with teak arms.
The chair is in excellent vintage condition with very minor age related wear and tear but no damage to the frame nor the seat cord. This is a single owner chair, having been purchased new by its Danish owner in Denmark and shipped out to the USA before it travelled with her to the UK prior to us acquiring the chair from her.

Description: A selection of EA 205 softpad chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1969.
Taupe brown leather on a chrome frame. Made by Vitra, has all usual markings and labels and dates to 1989. Came from the offices of a London law firm.
The leather is in very good order for age, some relatively minor signs of wear. The frames are also in very good order.
These are standard leather EA205 chairs with a fixed base. They were factory fitted with castors which allows freedom of movement...

Description: A lovely example of Hans J Wegner's (1914-2007) classic J16 rocking chair designed in 1944. This particular chair was produced in 1968 and features the more desirable black lacquered oak frame.
The chair is in good original condition and has some wear and tear consistent with its age and use. There are a couple of areas that have been touched in, but this doesn't detract. Both the date stamp and original silver FDB sticker are present.
The original Danish cord is in very good condition, probably the best example we have had. This is a very nice chair in sound structural condition and should give many years of pleasure...

Description: A pair of scarce Bastiano lounge chairs designed in the late 1960s by Tobia Scarpa. The chairs are constructed from a solid rosewood frame with black leather cushions.
The chairs are in good used condition. There is some age related wear and tear as one would expect to the leather and frames. Both chairs retain their silver Gavina labels. Very comfortable!...
